Overview
Northstar is a published wilderness-survival AI app built with Expo and React Native. It streams guidance entirely on-device through Apple Intelligence or downloadable GGUF models, so it works offline.
Model downloads and device-aware fallback flows help the app adapt to the device running it. On-device voice transcription lets users ask for guidance by speaking, while RevenueCat handles purchase gating and Sentry provides monitoring.
